16 December was known as Vijay Divas, prior to Nirbhaya Rape Case. But Now we will recall this date as nation shame. A girl who had dreams in her eyes met with brutal criminals on that night. And all her dreams were shattered same night, lost her life even when she wanted to live. Before taking her last breathe ,she wanted to come back in the society which snatched everything from her.She gave a fire in everyone’s heart to fight against such issues. We awake, we fought for some time but again returned to our routine lives. The rapes were continued throughout the country. Even the number is increasing day by day.We are now fighting on stats , the latest stats says ” In every 20 minutes a rape takes place in India” the way stats are going upward , the day is not far when it will say 1 rape per minute , is it a mileage ? The increment will give better performance just like a vehicle ? On International Women’s Day,we all talked about women empowerment but how a woman will be empowered in such an In-secured Environment.First we have to make an environment,where she can breathe freely, feel comfortable ,can work lately in the office and can walk wherever she wants to.But the way society is still behaving , We can not see a hope that such environment can ever be created.The only reason is “Nirbhaya was Nirbhaya but we are not”
